Mark your calendar for July 9-18 because we’re hopping the pond to share the Gospel in The United Kingdom! The King’s Project will be spent primarily in the North of England in the Teesside region serving with UK-USA Ministries and over a dozen local churches and para-church ministries. We’ll also spend days in York, Durham, and Edinburgh, Scotland serving and performing outreach concerts! The trip cost of $2295 is all-inclusive, including travel, food, housing, and ministry supplies.
Note that the Senior Class of 2024-2025 will depart a day early (July 8) as we will honor our Seniors with a special Senior Day in the UK.
FAQ’s:
- Q: What are the accommodations like?
A: We will be staying at “The Barn.” Ask any upperclassmen about The Barn and you’ll hear about its beautiful setting in a serene field just outside of Yarm, England. Students and Sponsors will stay in large event marquees equipped with blow-up mattresses and portable toilets and shower blocks.
- Q: How will my student be traveling?
A: We will fly, of course! More specifically, this trip will require several modes of transportation. We’ll travel by planes, trains, and automobiles (buses) while in the UK. Students will have various transportation groups, always including their specific Family Group.
- Q: Does my student have to audition for a specialty part?
A: No! Though this is a choir mission trip, your student can choose not to audition for dance or solo parts, and simply sing in the choir and serve at mission sites.
- Q: What does registration look like?
A: Starting this year, registration is a two-part process. Part 1 is filling out the application (linked below) and part 2 is the financial commitment, which you will receive upon acceptance of your application.
Please, if you have any questions, send us an email at studentworship@prestonwood.org! We are honored that you would entrust your student to us and are glad to address any questions or concerns that you may have. Now, let’s go share the Gospel!
